Exterior Signage for BusStore Centers and BusStore Partners

The obligatory and correct use of external signage for BusStore locations is defined. BusStore locations, which have specific areas related to the Mercedes-Benz or Setra brand in their company facilities (vehicle delivery, showrooms, sales offices etc.) must adapt their exterior signage to incorporate the BusStore brand name. With the agreement of Corporate Marketing, neutral elements may sometimes be used in certain cases (e.g. neutral gateway sign).

Sign elements are divided into location signage and on-site signage. Location signage includes panels and flags. On-site signage comprises the gateway sign, the entrance sign and the information and icon signs. The quality of the signage, especially positioning and size of the elements, must be secured through an aesthetically pleasing overall image.

BusStore Panel

The illuminated BusStore panel is a primary brand labeling element. This panel should be of a similar size as those carrying the other brand names and all should be positioned equidistant from one another.

The weatherproof BusStore flags should be hung in one or two strategically important points at the facility site. In this case care should be taken, that if several flags are used, they have to have the same length.

When signing up for the Merchandising Shop, the “Business” option must be selected in order to access the corresponding product range. After logging in, registered users can add the required products to the shopping cart and order them for delivery.

Neutral Gateway Sign (Optional)

The neutral gateway sign informs visitors at the entrance to the premises about the brands and services available on site. The gateway sign bears the following information: the name BusStore in the first panel module, followed by Administration, Sales, Parts and Workshop – with or without arrow – in the Daimler CS Regular typeface. The gateway sign is available with and without illumination.

Neutral Entrance Sign (Optional)

The entrance sign informs customers and visitors immediately upon arrival, where to go for which services and which services are offered on the premises: name of the BusStore center or BusStore partner with address and phone number, information on the opening times and further special services (e.g. sales, service and parts/accessories with details about the division).

The entrance sign is available in just one width. As with the information signs, it has a modular design and can be erected at the respective defined heights so that it is either free-standing or wall-mounted. It consists of a maximum of three information modules.

Neutral Panel (Optional)

The illuminated neutral panel is used to identify the location and provides information about the units and functions on facility site. The length of the panel is defined by the content which is written on the panel.

Information Sign (Optional)

The information signs on the premises help customers find their way around easily. Different versions of information signs are provided: as target signage (without arrow) or as a direction sign (with arrow). The information sign is available with or without illumination.

Pictogram Sign (Optional)

The pictogram signs are designed to provide employee and customer information on the premises of a BusStore center or a BusStore partner. The information will vary according to the purpose:

• as traffic symbol, e.g. for parking, parking for specific groups of people (with additional symbol or term), speed restrictions etc.
• as textual information (e.g. a farewell message such as “Have a good journey” at the exit, information on service procedures at car parks etc.)
• letters or numbers to indicate service parking rows etc.

BusStore Parking Lot Signage

The BusStore parking places are marked with the BusStore lettering in white on the ground. Up to five bus parking places next to each other will be marked individually. More than five BusStore parking places will be marked across the whole parking area.
