Locking of User Accounts

Daimler Truck reserves the right to deactivate user accounts anytime and without prior notice in any case of inappropriate usage of an account.

Trademarks

Unless otherwise indicated, all marks displayed on the “Daimler Truck Design Navigator” online portal are subject to the trademark rights of Daimler Truck AG, this applies especially to product-related model name plates, and its corporate logo or brand marks and emblems.

No Warranties or Representations

While the information provided is believed to be accurate, it may include errors or inaccuracies.

No Licenses

Daimler Truck has sought to achieve an innovative and informative website. We hope that you will be as enthusiastic as we are about this creative effort. However, you also need to understand that Daimler Truck must protect its intellectual property, including its patents, trademarks and copyrights. Accordingly, please appreciate that no license to Daimler Truck AG’s intellectual property has been granted by the “Daimler Truck Design Navigator” online portal.

Usage and Distribution of the Mercedes-Benz Corpo Font Family

Under license from Mercedes-Benz Group AG, both commercial vehicle divisions Mercedes-Benz Trucks and Mercedes-Benz Buses of Daimler Truck AG use the Mercedes-Benz Corpo font family in their product communication.

It is permitted for Daimler Truck AG to distribute the exclusive Mercedes-Benz brand type to external third parties (agencies and other third parties), provided that the fonts are used exclusively to fulfill purchase orders from the Mercedes-Benz Trucks and Mercedes-Benz Buses commercial vehicle divisions, and to authorized dealers and service partners of both divisions and their suppliers. A prerequisite for this is possession of an authorized registered user account for the Mercedes-Benz Font Service on the “Daimler Truck Design Navigator” online portal. The external partner must register and complete the request for access upgrade for the fonts themselves.

A forwarding or transfer of font files to external third parties by Daimler Truck AG’s employees and employees of its subsidiaries or employees of authorized dealers and service partners for the Mercedes-Benz Trucks and Mercedes-Benz Buses divisions is not permissible due to the required documentation obligation.

The usage right granted after access request on the Mercedes-Benz Font Service (“Daimler Truck Design Navigator”) is authorized cannot be transferred to third parties. Authorized users may under no circumstances make their login data available to third parties. The shared use of login data is not permissible.

All common forms of use, i.e. desktop (Adobe InDesign or MS Office applications) and ePub (web embedding, web server, mobile apps, etc.), are permitted without restrictions. Web fonts in both WOFF and WOFF2 file formats are optimized for screen display in various browsers and may therefore not be modified. When embedding the web fonts, it is also important to ensure that the individual files are not renamed and are adequately protected from third-party access within the productive system environment.
