  • Template

    Outline for a document containing key layout elements that can be filled with new content.

  • Text Type

    Headline, body copy, info text, image caption, etc.

  • TIFF

    Tagged image file format. File format for exchanging image files. This format is primarily used in the DTP sector.

  • TrueType (TTF)

    Monitor and print fonts are unified in one data record. The TrueType glyphs are displayed as vector graphics on a screen.

  • Type Area

    The type area specifies the proportions of the printable area within the page format. It determines the distances to the edges and the column widths.

  • Typeface/Corporate Typeface

    The font with which a company or a brand identifies and presents itself externally and internally. Daimler Truck uses Daimler CS (Grotesque) from the font family Corporate ASE. The product and service brands use other font styles.
