  • Vector Graphics

    Scalable picture defined by mathematical formula or paths rather than pixels and independent of resolution.

  • Versal Height

    Height of the capital letters. During the era of lead typesetting the height of the lead base on which a raised letter was molded defined the size of the print. The versal height is measured on the capital „H“ of the respective typeface.

  • Video Resolution

    Films and other video material are produced in the standards of HD Ready, Full HD and Ultra HD (4K). Receivers marked “HD Ready” can display a resolution of 1280 x 720 px. Full HD resolution corresponds to 1920 x 1080 px, and Ultra HD resolution is even higher, at 3840 x 2160 px. State-of-the-art monitors can achieve display quality of 5120 x 2880 px (5K) with a diagonal screen size of 27 inches.

  • Virtual Reality

    “Virtual reality” refers to an all-embracing computer-generated simulation of reality, which is usually brought tangibly to life by means of special data eyeglasses.

  • Visual Appearance

    The visual appearance of a company (Corporate Design), brand, product or service.
