Brand Typeface
The typeface ITC Binary Light is supplemented by Daimler Truck’s corporate typeface Daimler CS in the font styles Regular and Bold. Only the brand claim is set in the font style Medium of the corporate typeface Daimler CS.
The brand typeface of Setra is the ITC Binary Light, which is typographically complemented by the Daimler CS corporate typeface in the Regular and Bold font styles. Only the Setra brand slogan is set as part of the brand label from the Medium font of Daimler CS. All sentences refer to the default presets in the available editable Adobe InDesign templates.

ITC Binary Light
The Setra ITC Binary Light brand font is used in brand communication for headlines, sublines and column titles. Cyrillic and Greek glyphs are not present in the ITC Binary Light character set and Book Antiqua Cyrillic is used as an alternative. Other possible alternative fonts are available from Cornelia Polster (BUS/MPM-C).
Daimler CS
The ITC Binary Light brand font is enhanced by the Daimler CS font in the Regular and Bold weights. The Regular font is used for copy, captions, tables and footnotes and the Bold font is used for awards. The Setra brand slogan is set from the Medium font style, which is used as a component of the graphic with the brand label in the specified application cases.
Copyright and How to Purchase Fonts
The brand font is protected by copyright. Duplication or distribution to third parties is prohibited. External partners may order ITC Binary from Linotype for a corresponding license fee of approx. 40 EUR:

We kindly ask external partners to first check whether the font was already purchased at an earlier date. If not, the Daimler CS font can be ordered from the rights holder Monotype for a corresponding license fee of approx. 90 EUR per font style: www.monotype.com
Fallback Font Arial
The “Arial” font is only used in exceptional cases as a replacement font as well as for correspondence in letters. Not however as a typeface in promotional and printed material.

Periods/Full Stops
In communication, headlines and sublines at all levels are always given a final punctuation mark regardless of their length and type. Except for questions and exclamations, this is usually the period or full stop. The aim of this rule is to avoid inconsistencies and to prevent doubts.
