Presentations

Suitable templates for MS PowerPoint are available for presentations by Daimler Truck Financial Services and subsidiaries, which already have all important basic settings and include easy-to-use layout variants for different slide types. The presentation templates are also optimized for people with visual disabilities and support an accessible presentation of various content.

General information

Modifications to the preset templates that change the appearance of the presentation more than insignificantly (e.g. the use of dark slide backgrounds, different typefaces or color tones) are not permitted. This also applies to the use of completely different templates for external communication with the sender Daimler Truck Financial Services GmbH.

Slide Layout

The layout of the presentation slides is based on variants in the slide master, which are linked in the editable templates for MS PowerPoint. The rules for handling the Basic Elements within Corporate Design must also be observed. These include the position of the Daimler Truck Financial Services logotypes on title slides, preset font sizes and weights, a reduced color scheme with a high proportion of white, the authentic and modern imagery, and an informative and intuitively understandable graphic style. The 3D effects or shadows available in the standard presentation software should not be used. Animations should always be sparingly integrated to show or hide individual elements. In addition, it must be ensured that the presentation created with MS PowerPoint is shown completely and is fully functional even after saving in the cross-system Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format.

Use of Content

Pictures, graphic elements, pictograms, and other digital content may only be used if information about their origin and the current right of use (license) for Daimler Truck Financial Services GmbH is available. The use of AI/AI-generated images and similar content is currently not recommended, as the legal framework in the global context remains largely unclear.

Photos and infographics from the public Daimler Truck Newsroom (ex Media Site), which are marked with a copyright notice of Daimler Truck AG, are available for general use throughout the Daimler Truck group and thus for Daimler Truck Financial Services GmbH and its name-bearing subsidiaries for internal and external presentations as well as other publications. Additional materials, including licensed stock photos, are provided in various internal photo databases with their own terms of use. These can be found on the Social Intranet (if required).

Embedding Fonts

For legal reasons, the Daimler CS corporate typeface should not be embedded in editable presentation files for MS PowerPoint. If such presentations are to be presented or displayed on third-party computers, they must first be exported to the Adobe Acrobat (PDF) file format and then sufficiently checked for completeness of content and technical functionality.
