Pictograms, infographics, tables and diagrams should convey complex overall relationships in an easily understandable manner. All graphic elements are characterized by a clear, clear representation and are displayed two-dimensionally without shadow effects. Daimler CSDaimler CS

Pictograms and icons
Pictograms and icons stand for specific objects or facts. They must therefore be clearly recognizable, self-explanatory and internationally understandable. The design idiom is basically angular, the line thickness is based on the Daimler CS. All symbols are measured uniformly using a grid that defines the positioning of the graphic elements as consistently as it is flexible. Individual symbols can be combined into a graphic to visualize complex relationships by aligning them proportionally to one another in the extended grid with the same scale. The symbols can be used in the colors black, white, Petrol and Light Grey, including their darkening and brightening.
The number of symbols in the Daimler Truck library is continuously expanded as required. When creating a new version for non-existent objects or circumstances, the design idiom and line thicknesses must be adopted.
Tables and diagrams
Tables and diagrams are on white or Light Grey backgrounds, texts and numbers in black on white or light backgrounds or on dark white backgrounds. Rows and/or columns of a table can be displayed in Light Grey including the lightened or darkened color shades, base lines are displayed in black. To highlight texts, values or areas, the accent colorAccent Color
In the Daimler Truck color palette, there are: Petrol and Yellow. Petrol can be used with the corresponding lightening and darkening. Yellow is used sparingly for highlighting.
Infographics
Static or animated infographics can easily visualize complex information and data through a combination of pictograms, illustrations, photos and texts reduced to the essential content. If a graphic is within a body text, it is separated upwards by a line from the body text. Below this line is the corresponding table heading. If the table or diagram is not integrated into the body text (e.g. within MS PowerPoint presentation), the table or diagram heading is above this line. While all colors of the Daimler Truck color palette are available, it is recommended to design infographics with two or three colors that have a high contrast. As in general, yellow should only be used sparingly. Two to a maximum of three font styles of the Daimler CS should be combined in an infographic. Headlines and longer texts are always written in mixed spelling (upper/lower case); upper-case letters can also be used for keywords.
