Brand Mark
The BusStore brand mark is composed of the two word components “Bus” and “Store” and it is not possible to alter or modify it. As an optical addition to the brand mark, the given subline is used.
The BusStore brand mark is composed of the two-word components “Bus” and “Store”. It is prohibited to reproduce the brand mark from the brand typeface or from any other font.
Use
The BusStore symbol is always on the right on the lower page margin on the title pages of brochures. The size and positioning conform with the page format. The BusStore brand mark may not be used with any other than the defined addition. The BusStore logotype is not used in continuous texts or headlines.
To not affect the brand mark quality rating, its use is prohibited on trivial items. The brand mark may only be used on materials, which are high-quality and show no signs of wear. For this reason: no brand mark on foodstuffs, towels or other items which can be consumed or worn out. An inflationary usage is, in particular, to be avoided. The decorative use of the corporate logotype as a background, ornament or sample component is not permitted. During digital printing, it must be ensured that the specified color is achieved.
Spelling of the Brand Name
The brand name BusStore is always written in internal texts without a space and a hyphen in the type font Daimler CS italic. Here the word component “Bus” is always printed in italics while the word component “Store” is always printed with a capital “S” and in italics. If the brand name is used in external articles (e.g. brochures of the product brands, press articles etc.) it must be ensured that the notation is equal to that of own publications, but in the corporate font of the particular medium. The use of the BusStore brand mark for internal and external communication is specified in the appropriate manuals. The brand mark is always used in combination with the subline.
Brand Mark with Subline
The BusStore brand mark with the subline “Pre-owned Mercedes-Benz and Setra Buses” points out the direct reference to the product brands Mercedes-Benz and Setra across all brands.
Color Variants
There are four color variants:
The subline is used on a light background in black and on a dark background in white. Special exceptions are to be agreed with Corporate Marketing of the Daimler Buses GmbH.
The creation of new logotypes and quality symbols in connection with BusStore is not permitted. The BusStore brand mark was specially designed as a conversion to line art and may not be recreated, copied or modified in any form. The brand mark is copyrighted and may only be reproduced from approved templates and can be downloaded in digital form, both for Macintosh and PC applications.
In order to not influence the effect and individuality of the individual corporate logotypes/brand marks, the reproduction of multiple corporate logotypes/brand marks is not permitted. Exceptional cases are to be agreed with Daimler Buses Corporate Marketing.
Sizes
Position, font style and size of the subline are pre-defined in the templates and must not be changed. The standard size of the brand mark BusStore has a width of 78 mm (DIN A4 applications). The subline is written in the Daimler CS Regular font style. The subline must not undercut a 6 pt font size. That results to a brand mark width of 48,3 mm. Smaller brand mark sizes should always be displayed without subline. The brand mark must not undercut a minimum length of 15 mm.
Free Space
The minimum free space, which is an absolute minimum value, corresponds with the height of the capital letter “E” and the consequent figures. Nothing else – no pictures, other logos and text may be present in this free space.
Use of the Subline
The BusStore brand mark should be used with or without subline “Pre-owned Mercedes-Benz and Setra Buses” in the following cases:
