This term is used within Corporate Design to refer to the key basic design elements: corporate ... (e.g. font, colors) must also be observed in this context.
Stage design
The stage backdrop contains a white header area and a content area with a background in white, Light Grey or including a large-format visual. The corporate logotype is centered in the white header area. Texts on the content area are set in black or white, depending on the background. Their position is always left-aligned within the design grid. Event signs are never placed in the header area, but always in the content area. Alternatively, an event sign can also be placed on a separate board or communicated via the projection.
Lectern
Only the corporate logotype is shown on the lectern, which is fully white. It must be positioned so that the main elements of the stage backdrop are not obscured.
Communication and information boards
Communication and information boards set accents in the room and are used as an additional design area with other elements – e.g. the stage backdrop – combined. Communication and information boards generally do not carry the corporate logotype. They can be in portrait or landscape format and also square but should not exceed the height of the back wall of the stage. A full-surface design, e.g. with images or longer texts is possible.
Pylons
Pylons are used for events inside and outside buildings to communicate directions and other information and can include format-filling areas in white or Light Grey in addition to the white header area with the corporate logotype. In general, only one font sizeFont Size
The unit of measurement for the font size is the point (pt). should be used on pylons of each format. Bilingual texts are separated from each other by a greater distance; there is no additional distinction based on font styleFont Style
Font variants within a font family, e.g. italic, regular or bold. or color. If arrows and pictograms are used, they are right-aligned.
Special rules for major events (e.g. annual general meeting, trade fair booth)
The main criterion for the placement of the corporate logotype is good visibility also from a distance. Depending on the individual preconditions and architectural design of the event, the otherwise mandatory white header area of the stage backdrop wall can be omitted, and the corporate logotype in black or white can be placed freely as an exception.
